Thank you for your support of the Center for Innovation, the first entrepreneurial center in the country housed at a baccalaureate institution.

Cash gifts are easy to contribute, and can be made through credit/debit card, cash, personal or cashier’s checks, or money orders made payable to the Metropolitan State College of Denver Foundation, Inc.  The easiest and most secure way to make a gift is online. Please remember to enter Department into the DESIGNATION field on the verification page and Center for Innovation in “COMMENTS”.

Gifts of appreciated securities, stocks, and bonds: These provide you with considerable tax advantages when you transfer them to Metro State before they are sold.  If you have held your securities for more than one year, your gift may provide a two-fold tax benefit by creating an income-tax deduction and helping you to avoid a capital-gains sales tax. The Foundation currently has an account with UMB Scout Brokerage Services.  To transfer stocks directly from a broker’s account, please contact Jeanne Olson at 303-556-8424.
