Sara Tobias

Sara Tobias is a business executive and strategist with 20 years of expertise in mentoring, consulting and developing companies. Sara has taken three of her own companies full cycle from conception through development, to purchase and has guided several more through the process. As a serial entrepreneur, Sara has a personal charter to support start up, pre-revenue ventures . She has an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business in both Entrepreneurship and Strategy and a JD from Loyola University, School of Law where she practiced law in Chicago, Illinois.

In April of 2009 Sara became the Managing Partner of On Ramp Ventures, LLC which is a business consulting firm that works with early stage companies, to bring them from concept to first generation of revenue as well as post revenue companies looking to scale. The industries in which she consults include technology, insurance, entertainment, education, and emerging technologies. Sara engages in strategic alliances, company due diligence, and capital relationships.

Sara lives in the foothills of Denver, Colorado with her husband of 18 years, and two young daughters. As an extremely gregarious individual, she looks forward to talking with all students about their business ideas and passions.
